Best/Worst system ever?
After Arnold mandated a state-wide pay-cut, it was reported that this cannot be done as a result of its antiquated system not being able to reconfigure the payroll system in anything less than six months.
Even Terminator cannot whack a system that is "an example of a one-time large investment and sustained with duct tapes".
The funniest part of this is that even though it looks like just a data change on a single data point (minimum wage), somehow it's taking 6 months to lower the wage, while 9 months to raise it back!
Wonder why there's an additional 3 months?
Sad to say, but this sounds too close to my work...
