This was actually a gift from one of my nieces a few years ago. Just a good little picture to share towards the countdown of our 10th anniversary at the end of the year.
One way or another, it'll be memorable.
Two of my buddies in the photo above, the third from the left, Ryan, and the one on the rightmost, Yeow Chong, are both planning to get married in late December 2007 and early January 2008. That is great, except the fact that their weddings are sandwiching our anniversary date!
I currently can't fly out of the States right now anyway, due to a immigration restriction as part of the green card application process. If i can get the approval to fly out, god knows how i can be attending both weddings and yet be back in the States to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
One of the potential itinerary is as follows:
- Go back to Singapore in mid December
- Attend Ryan's wedding and fly back to Seattle the next day
- Celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary
- Stay for a week
- Go back to Singapore again(!)
Just thinking about the two cross ocean flights both way in such a short time just make me go shivers me timbers...

Hi syen,
i would suggest just going online via the usual travel sites like expedia, etc would suffice.
It really shouldn't matter as you can do your own walks and visits within Singapore in a safe and easy fashion.
When we went back to Singapore in April, i used the Airline Consolidator and they gave quite an amazing price for me and my wife. It was probably two hundred dollars cheaper than the other sites could offer.
Let me know if you need some recommendations on things to do/places to visit in Singapore.
Cheers

Hi syen,
i had quite a good experience in them. Initially i was kinda skeptical to provide my credit card details over the web, but after i completed the order, i got a voice call like five minutes right after the email for the order was received.
The call was to again revalidate the flight details and the caller even provide his name and another number to call if necessary.
I would say that it was a pleasant experience with them, don't you think?
One additional tip is to try a variety of dates (arrivals/departures) if your schedule allows for it. We got another two hundred US dollars savings just by moving it one day earlier than our original plan!

Hi, can I ask you for some advise? I am planning to visit Singapore sometime next year hopefully in Jan'08. Do you suggest using a travel agency or buying online thr expedia, etc or does it really matter at all? Thanks.
