In SIN

Finally touched down in Singapore, after two interesting incidents in both Sea-tac and Narita airports.

In Sea-tac itself, it was a consequence of being surprised by IHOP's large crowd and delayed somewhat by Denny's slow service. After going through the customs in Sea-tac, and did one last minute shopping at the gift store, i had the ground crew walking around asking for passengers on my flight. I embarassingly raised my hands as i was paying the store. After i boarded the plane, i think there was just another lady after me.

I was the last person to board the plane in Narita, even though i didnt do anything other than leaving the first plane, go through the security checks, and walking to the departure gate!

No time to shop, and no time to look for food.

It was, in a way, a better way of transit, since my fave place in Narita airport seems to be closed, perhaps for new ownership?

By the time i reached the departure gate, two of the ground crew there welcomed me by my name! "Hi Mr Poon!". Lovely.

And the funniest thing was that being the last person, i was STILL "randomly" selected to do a more detailed check on my carry-on bag.

At least they can no longer blame me for any delays, which didn't happen as the plane reached Singapore at least 30 mins earlier than scheduled.

After touching down, the first thing to do was to grab some roti prata at Jalan Kayu.

Roti Prata and Paper Prata at Jalan Kayu

A "healthy" serving of roti pratas, tea-chino, and a few goreng dishes. Not all for myself, but for my welcoming committee of 5.
