new job?

i met up with a recruiter for lunch. she is a bank customer and waited 30 minutes to have lunch with me. she asked me to consider a contract position in Jon's company. i was happy. however, jon would prefer that i work in a product group which is always good to work in division with huge budget.

the recruiter will check with her client on the job specs. jon feels that the job description seems to be a data entry job. i will have a few more questions for her and we'll see from there.

yes, i want to leave the bank but i do not want to work in another company on a short term basis and to hunt for another job later. i want to continue working in marketing and learn from my peers.
