an ironic twist of fate?
after a series of long meetings and really testy discussions and arguements about the next-generation system, we finally got a chance to take a breather, both the IT folks and the business folks, before starting the long march towards March!

one very interesting thing happened on thursday. i was asked if i would be interested to take up a new role. This wasnt asked by my manager, but by a project manager under the next-gen system group.

not wanting to burn bridges immediately, (and a real reason) that my green card application is being in progress, and that depends on me staying within a similar role within the company. I can't change from a technical-based role to a project-based role without hurting my chances of getting the green card...
