hurray! my friend has received a job offer. he is ecstatic but exceptionally calm with the news. well, i could not contain myself. i am so happy for him. he is a good father and dedicated worker. his new employer is very lucky to have him. too bad for his present employer.

he has turned down several job offers in the past and i chided him for his stupidity. when you turn down job offers, you are giving up the opportunity to explore new frontier, unless you are VERY SATISFIED WITH YOUR CURRENT JOB.

please do not expect a better job to come along because it does not work this way. when you close one door, it stay close until GOD informs door bitch/bouncer to open the door. i do not believe in waiting for a job to land on you. i believe in working smart. take an active approach to let your friends or business contacts (only trusted ones) know that you are hunting for a job.

if your present job is stifling you and you don't feel challenged, do something! of course, i am referring to myself. i am working hard to find a better job.
