The Maltese Falcon?

One of my current likes is to listen to old-time radio. What old-time radio (OTR) provides is an insight to years long gone by. Radio shows in the 40s-60s were providing the sole (or primary) entertainment, and they had a lot of very interesting programs.

One of the most well-known programs is Sam Spade, the private detective. And his most famous epsiode, based on the book of the same title, is the Maltese Falcon. So, being in Malta, looking for the Maltese Falcon is almost a no-brainer.

In the day tour to Mdina, the ancient city, there is a tacky toursit trap called the Malese Falcon. Though it is tacky, i still went in to take a look. The falcon is a short plump statue of a big-headed falcon.

Kinda downer...
