the staff fights back
we had it. a supervisor who comes and goes as she wishes. we have been complaining about her behind her back and the asst supervisor could not take it anymore. she will talk to the supervisor about her attendence tomorrow.

i wonder what will happen tomorrow. how can a supervisor set a good example for her staff when she always leave early and does not attend to customers on bank transactions.

for the past two weeks, i have been doing closing for the loans division. closing means i have to check all the transactions performed during the day and made sure the transactions are accurate and there is no mistake done. although i will earn overtime on this but i miss the bus. i have to ask my colleague to give me a lift home.

after working here for 5 months, i have decided to look for a new job. but i will not quit until i have found a job.

Hi Sharon, have been following some of your post on work. I can definitely identify with some of your woes (like driving).

Yes, I do agree that the work culture in North America is different from the culture back home. (I may be wrong, but a lot has to do with "keeping up with appearances". Sign!) Anyway, don't give up! I'm sure you'll find a job you like.

Thanks Anna

So good to find another person sharing my woes or sentiments.

Will continue to work in the bank and look out for job opportunities.

Thanks
Sharon
