bad customer service
many people can relate to good and bad customer service. i can relate to more bad customer service than good ones.

this morning, a couple came to the bank to request for auto loan. my co-worker and i were eager to help them. they have good credit history and stable jobs. however, their cellphone service provider did not rectify a mistake in billing statement and that had resulted to a collection status. this means that the service provider has engaged a collection agency to collect bad debts from the couple.

the couple was surprised and told us that the service provider had promised to rectify the records last week as this mistake was caused by them, but it was not done. the bank was unable to approve the auto loan unless the couple has a good credit history.

the couple called the service provider and was put on hold for more than 15 minutes and transferred to 4 different departments. it took them more than 1 hour to settle the dispute.

it was certainly a bad experience for them. my co-worker and i tried to help them as much as possible. they were grateful that we were patient. we were grateful the couple did not receive bad customer service from us.
