Afghani Restaurant anyone?

Bamiyan Afghani Restaurant Posted by Hello

We went to a Afghani restaurant for our dinner. The food was really good, though you have to wonder how the heck the Afhgani are going to find cilantro, noodle, basami rice etc. and making such delicious food.

The ironic thing was that the restaurant was called Bamiyan. In the Bamiyan  valley in central Afghanistan, the 1800+ years old Buddha statue was destroyed by the Talibans just before the US came in. It was such a shock to hear that news when that happened.

Thankfully, there are now efforts to reconstruct the Buddha statue at the site.

Did i mention the food was good? It was.
