yes madam
R, my boss's goal for me this year is not to battle/fight/question bank's policies. it is not up to me to ask why and how the policies are set even though there are loopholes in it.
YES MADAM, i will do it for the sake of pay increase. i have sold my soul and integrity to conform with the bank's culture. i must learn not to be annoyed by foolish and stupid customers and co-workers. learning to give up your values and makes life so much easier.
when i leave the bank for another job, i will make sure i redeem my soul and integrity.

Have been in banking for a damn long time (in my mind anyway) and totally understand what you're going through. I was in branch for about 5 years... *phew* Boy am I glad I'm TOTALLY in sales now...
Hang in there...
Oh... your blogskin has Standard Chartered corporate colours! For a moment there I thought I was in the bank's website! *grin*
So bladdy irritating. Sometimes, that's all you can do to keep your sanity. It's hard, I've been doing that for 8 years at my job. It's exhausting. Good luck.
